Gig Harbor Kayaking Expedition
My wife and I love to kayak around Gig Harbor and Fox Island. We’re not real serious, we just kind of paddle around the calmer waters of the Puget Sound. I found a pretty exciting sounding event online that I thought I’d share for those of you who are more serious kayakers.
The Inside Passage Kayaking Expedition will be leaving from Gig Harbor, WA, going up through the islands of Canada, all the way up to Alaska! WOW! You can see off the adventurers and join them for a short paddle on Saturday, May 2nd at the Gig Harbor public boat launch. Meet at 9am, launch is at 10am. View their website for more information. If you’re in any way associated with this event, I’d love to hear some stories on the history and background. Lots of folks kayak in Gig Harbor, but I’ve never heard of something like this.
