Vote for the Tides/Seahawks game!

The annual Gig Harbor football rivalry, known as the “Fish Bowl”, is coming up Friday night!  The 30th meeting between Gig Harbor High and Peninsula High will be played at PHS’ Roy Anderson Field tomorrow night at 7pm.  Both teams enter the game with 3-1 records, so it should be a great game.

Fox News and Q it up sports is looking for your vote to determine which game they will provide footage of on their sportscast Friday night.  Make sure you vote here for the Tides vs Seahawks game!

    I vote for Gig Harbor…after all..my kids graduated from GHS. In fact one son went there 5 years without flunking….The first year of the school, they had the 8th grade, and no seniors :o)

    Oh…forgot one very important thing…don’t forget to go to the wonderful fish dinner at Peninsula just before the game…it’s fantastic!!!!! Our local commercial fishermen do the donating and cooking and they know their stuff !!!

    Thanks DeeDee…I totally forgot about that! You’ve got to love a town where the local fishermen host a salmon bake for a community high school football game! Gig Harbor is so unique!
