The nickel is mined in Ontario, Canada, then shipped to Japan, then back to the U.S. The battery life at this time is only 100,000 miles and then needs to be replaced and the cycle starts all over. A Hummer (no I don't own one) will probably run for plus 300,000 miles. Also, little vegetation grows in the area where the nickel is mined...I'm curious if that car had Oregon plates?
