Walking the harbor is one of our favorite pastimes. We start near City park @ Crescent Creek and walk to the city dock and back. Its about 4 miles and takes 48 minutes at a good clip...unless we stop at one of the shops or restaurants on the way. Now that the weather is not so cold or wet we are more motivated to get some fresh air and exercise. Our dog appreciates it too...and no, we don't leave any surprises on the sidewalk as we always bring a...you know bag...I would much rather walk the harbor looking at the boats/scenery rather than walking on a treadmill at the Y... It's also nice that the speed limit throughout the Harbor is only 25mph and the GHPD does a good job of enforcing it...

I bet you and Seb looked funny running up to that contraption over and over again! Sure would love to be there for a walk about now; it's cold and snow-covered here, but at least the sky is blue. I always love walking in the Gig Harbor area ... one walk through a wooded area not far from the Harbor, but I don't remember what it was called ... that was a pleasant walk.
