Great Example of Community
My goal with this website is to promote the community of Gig Harbor. I want people to get a good understanding of all the good that goes on here. The link below is a recent news story featuring a Keller Williams agent from Tacoma, as well as the Gig Harbor Keller Williams’ Operating Principal. It’s a great example of what community is. In the interview, Mike Bastian makes a very profound statement that really grabbed me. I’ll give you each one guess…the first comment that correctly identifies what quote of Mike’s grabs me as most profound I’ll send a $5 gift card to a local coffee shop.
Enjoy the video.

You win! I love that thought process. Doing acts of kindness like this, something that Mike and Teresa just feel is what you should do, is noted as newsworthy and remarkable. Too bad it’s not just what we all do.
I am very grateful that it did make the news, however. Nice to see something positive for once!

This one brought tears to my eyes … thank you for sharing. And what an example for all of us; I hope I can be the kind of person who will do what’s right simply because it IS right.

Matt, I have been with Keller Williams for 3 years now. You know! This company is about being a family. I have seen it in my own office over and over! We don’t do it for recognition. We do it because someone in our family needs help.
Random acts of kindness!! Sometime when you are in line at Starbucks, pay for the person’s coffee behind you. See how it makes you feel!!

Recently we had someone try to break in the house again. I have so many great neighbors where I live that were there for my wife while I was at my job in Alaska. Gig Harbor is a great community and there are alot of great people here! I am truly blessed with those who live around me in my neighborhood.
