I’d heard it was P.F. Chang’s but they are not Seattle based. I think Arizona? I’ve heard some stores have backed out or have been put on hold. Anyone else heard anything?

If your after Italian food in the Harbor, then wake up and follow the aroma to great, authentic, Italian, food at Terracciano’s on Judson across from the post office in down town GH. Folks need to learn what Italian food really is before they start wishing for it. I can assure you that it is not the Cheesecake Factory, Cucina, Cucina, or the Spaghetti Factory. This is just one Italian Harborites opinion.

Great Italian restaraunts? Clearly, you people have yet to try Johnny Corinos… though that’s all the way up north and extremely far from Seattle, so I doubt they’d have one here.

Cheesecake Factory is still possible; they do serve some Italian-based foods like pastas and pizzas, as someone else had said. However, we won’t know the verdict until we see the evidence ourselves. Besides, for all we know it may have been a trick to fool us all and we’ll end up with P.F. Changs! (I’m joking; we have Harbor Monsoon for Chinese food as it is.)

I think a covered mini mall with open aired restaurants would be great including an REI sports store too.

I hope it is not the Cheesecake Factory - they are too mass market. Their menu is huge and none of the items are good, probably because they have too many!

It’s not Cucina Cucina…they have have closed or sold all of their locations. The Tacoma Mall Cucina was sold awhile ago to a Redmond restaurantier who has already changed the menu and is soon to change the name of the restaurant. We need a Red Robin in Gig Harbor as well as many other restuarnts - it’s such a nice place but void of enough good restuarants to serve the population!

Pallino IS great and would be better than Cuchina…A great Italian restaurant is lacking here. Also a good East Indian place would probably do well…

I’m hoping it’s Pallino. It’s a great Italian restaurant founded by a former Starbucks executive. I’ve been to their locations in University Village and at Seatac Airport.
