Worst job in Gig Harbor?

Bridges being built

I was driving across the Tacoma Narrows Bridge yesterday on my way to Tacoma, and it was perhaps the windiest I had ever felt it on the bridge.  I’m quite certain it’s been windier, but not while I was driving across.  There were a handful of men walking along the sidewalk, men who have the job of maintaining and building this amazing structure.  I’m not really afraid of heights, but this job would be a bit overboard for me.

The Tacoma Narrows Bridge is one of the most marvelous engineering feats I have ever seen.  These guys who work on it are simply nuts.

Building the bridge

I’d be scared to death even if it wasn’t windy! Hopefully not, but has anyone ever been injured working on that bridge?

Good question, do you know Matt?

I’ve checked around and havn’t found any answers. Nobody that I’ve ever heard of, anyway.
